Package: openjdk-8-jre-headless
Version: 8u181-b13-2~deb9u1
Severity: serious

As per https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/27499, it seems OpenJDK JRE binaries dependency on libcups is useless. This is especially worrying for the headless version of it.

This is especially worrying as the libcups2 package depends on libsystemd0, making headless Java binaries enforcing its presence in the end.

Hi,

thanks for the report. We actually haven't forked
openjdk-8-jre-headless in Devuan, so it would be probably better to
forward the report upstream, i.e., to bugs.debian.org.

Thanks

KatolaZ
