Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

Attempting to boot a kernel built with gcc-10 on amd64 platform

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

reverting to gcc-9, building kernel for i386 on gcc-10 worked

   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

I can supply a built package if there is an upload location that I can use.

Hi Mark, I think that my problem occurs at an earlier stage than the proble=
ms mentioned at https://bugs=2Edebian=2Eorg/950254 , grub appears to attemp=
t to pass control to the kernel boot code but nothing seems to happen after=
that (screen goes blank, no hard disk activity)=2E

I am not sure if it possible to get an early remote console or any other a=
lternatives to see what is happening=2E

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

Attempting to boot a kernel built with gcc-10 on amd64 platform

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

reverting to gcc-9, building kernel for i386 on gcc-10 worked

   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

I can supply a built package if there is an upload location that I can use.

OK.

Closing as it isn't a Devuan issue.

OK.

Closing as it isn't a Devuan issue.

Thanks

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

Attempting to boot a kernel built with gcc-10 on amd64 platform

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

reverting to gcc-9, building kernel for i386 on gcc-10 worked

   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

I can supply a built package if there is an upload location that I can use.
