Dear Maintainer,

Because /etc/squid-deb-proxy/mirror-dstdomain.acl permits only Debian archives,
squid-deb-proxy does not work for Devuan (or Ubuntu or Kali or ...)

Each downstream derivative seems having responsibility to enable
their own archives...

In addition, since Debian 11 was hard frozen, a fix in the upstream
seems impossible for Chimaera.

Best regards, Ryutaroh Matsumoto

Thanks for this. At the moment, squid-deb-proxy in Debian is in a poor state. It
isn't even in bookworm

mark@apollo:~% rmadison squid-deb-proxy
squid-deb-proxy | 0.8.9 | oldoldoldstable | source, all
squid-deb-proxy | 0.8.14 | oldoldstable | source, all
squid-deb-proxy | 0.8.14+nmu2 | oldstable | source, all
squid-deb-proxy | 0.8.15 | stable | source, all
squid-deb-proxy | 0.8.15+nmu1 | unstable | source, all

squid-deb-proxy (- to 0.8.15+nmu1)
    Maintainer: Michael Vogt
    Migration status for squid-deb-proxy (- to 0.8.15+nmu1): BLOCKED: Rejected/violates migration policy/introduces a regression
    Issues preventing migration:
    ∙ ∙ Updating squid-deb-proxy would introduce bugs in testing: #932501, #999646
∙ ∙ blocked by freeze: is not in testing
    Additional info:
    ∙ ∙ Piuparts tested OK - https://piuparts.debian.org/sid/source/s/squid-deb-proxy.html
    ∙ ∙ 606 days old (needed 10 days)

Downgrading to wishlist.

Mark
